Small Grants
The small grants program was developed to engender interest among dairy farmers in undertaking small projects in groups that would foster interest in research and development. Their purpose is to encourage dairy farmers to undertake work that they would otherwise not undertake under normal commercial circumstances either on their property or as part of their dairy farm business. To this end the small grants program has been successful to date and many dairy farmers have been involved some way or another in a small grants program either through participation in the actual activity or from hearing and learning from the result of a particular activity.
